du Receives 4400 Applications From Young Emirates At Careers ...

According to figures released by du, the new telecommunications operator in the UAE, a record 4,400 applications were received from visitors to the du stand over three days, at the recently conducted 7th Annual Careers UAE 2007.

For a person to receive a disability tag for his car, he has to go to the license bureau and show proof from his doctor in the form of a special piece of paper that says he is disabled, shows the doctor's name, how he is disabled and how long he will be disabled.

This I understand. But what I don't understand is that people can walk in and get their license renewed and they are not asked to show proof that they have auto insurance.
